On Nov. 1, 2016, at approximately 4:20 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 3 in the Town of Volney for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. The operator, Susanne M. Gugula, 29, of 858 Baldwin Road, Fulton, was found to be operating with a suspended license, and without a required interlock device.<\/p>\n

Further investigation at the scene revealed several packets of heroin, hypodermic needles and two packets of Suboxone without a valid prescription within the vehicle. Gugula, along with passengers Amanda E. Freyleue, 30, from 850 Baldwin Road, Fulton; and John A. Susco, 33, from 103 Westwood Ave., Mattydale were taken into custody, processed at SP Fulton, and arraigned in the Town of Palermo Court.<\/p>\n

Gugula was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, a class \u201cC\u201d felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor, and several vehicle and traffic law violations. She was remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond, and is scheduled to return to Town of Volney Cour Dec. 5, 2016.<\/p>\n

Freyleue was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor. She was remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond, and is scheduled to return to Town of Volney Court Nov. 14, 2016.<\/p>\n
