Seeking an action-packed adventure over the holiday recess? Friends of Rogers has the answer! From Dec. 26 through 30,\u00a0children ages 7-10 have the opportunity to explore Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne and learn about the great outdoors.<\/p>\n

During \u201cWonders of Winter,\u201d participants will hike the trails, conduct experiments, explore the mysteries of the forest,\u00a0learn about the natural world, and make new friends. Crafts, games and snacks add to the fun!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a variety of exciting activities planned this season,\u201d said Sarah Freedman, Friends of Rogers environmental\u00a0educator. \u201cThe opportunity for kids to get outside and learn new things is always an adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Early bird registration made by Dec. 16 is $28 per day for members and $33 for non-yet-members, and discounts are\u00a0available for multi-day and multi-child registrations. The fee increases to $30 for members and $35 for not-yet-members\u00a0after Dec. 16. Also available are activities before (8-9 a.m.) and after (4-5:30 p.m.) for an additional $7.50 per session,\u00a0per child.<\/p>\n

Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization\u00a0that offers educational programs for people of all ages. Seasonal hours are from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\u00a0Wednesday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
