This meeting is open to the public\u00a0Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Marcy Service Center,\u00a09025 River Road,\u00a0Marcy.<\/p>\n<p>The Local Work Group will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues existing in our community, and will provide information and feedback to direct NRCS programs. Participants may be agricultural producers; owners of nonindustrial private forest land; representatives of agricultural and\u00a0environmental organizations; and representatives of <!--more-->governmental agencies carrying out environmental,\u00a0agricultural, or natural resource conservation programs and activities.<\/p>\n<p>NRCS Local Work Groups are subcommittees of the NRCS State Technical Committee and they meet\u00a0annually to provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities in order to assist USDA NRCS\u00a0in providing Farm Bill program conservation programs in New York.
