If not, most deeds are available\u00a0for less than $5 at the County Clerk\u2019s office. Certified copies are usually $10 or less.<\/p>\n<p>There is a new twist to the offering\u2014 that it will give you assessment<!--more--> information. That is available at\u00a0your local assessor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>If you really need a copy of your deed, you can get it faster, cheaper and easier from the clerk\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>In many counties, including Madison, you can even print out a simple uncertified copy online.
