The Center serves those with an acquired brain injury and helps members relearn lost skills through art and music.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amaus Health Services <\/strong>received <strong>$15,000 <\/strong>to purchase hardware and software to expand its dental <!--more-->services to accommodate a growing community need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citizens Campaign for the Environment <\/strong>received<strong> $10,000 <\/strong>to provide five additional safe medication disposal drop boxes to police departments in Onondaga County and conduct an educational campaign to expand public engagement in this initiative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CNY Arts <\/strong>received a <strong>$25,000 <\/strong>to create a regional one-calendar system with Visit Syracuse that positions CNY as an arts and entertainment destination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>East Area Volunteer Emergency Services<\/strong> received <strong>$25,000<\/strong> to construct a new emergency services building that includes an emergency shelter, training center and walk-in clinic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food Bank of CNY<\/strong> received <strong>$75,979<\/strong> to convert a portion of its 25,000 sq. ft. freezer into a produce-specific cooler to better preserve and maintain food supply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onondaga Community Trauma Task Force<\/strong> received <strong>$19,698 <\/strong>to teach 15 participants to become trainers in the <em>Community Resilience Model<\/em> (CRM) to increase understanding of the impact of trauma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onondaga Historical Association <\/strong>received <strong>$25,000 <\/strong>to support research, development and artifact selection for its new <em>Brewseum<\/em>. The Brewseum will explain the history behind the Brewing industry of Central New York, including details on immigration, architecture, prohibition, temperance and industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stone Quarry Hill Art Park<\/strong> received <strong>$20,700<\/strong> to support capital improvements to its Art Barn program area to create a safe environment for artists working in the space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syracuse Lions Club<\/strong> received <strong>$17,100<\/strong> to purchase equipment used for screening children&#8217;s eyesight within the Syracuse City School District and other facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syracuse Poster Project<\/strong> received <strong>$10,878<\/strong> to purchase IT and office equipment to improve the work efficiency of its interns, volunteers and board members in the creation of civic poster art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syracuse Stage<\/strong> received <strong>$25,000 <\/strong>to bring its <em>Backstory <\/em>program to local schools. The program takes students on an interactive classroom experience that features historical characters portrayed by an artist-in-residence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vera House <\/strong>received<strong> $100,000<\/strong> to assist with renovating its new office building on James Street.
