A non-retired nominee must have at least 25 years\u2019 experience in the category to which he\/she is nominated from.<!--more-->Categories include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pre-Modern Athlete (High School, College, Amateur, or Professional Athlete pre-1960)<\/li>\n<li>Modern Athlete (High School, College, Amateur, or Professional Athlete 1960-present)<\/li>\n<li>Coach or Manager (High School, College, Amateur, or Professional)<\/li>\n<li>Sports Executive, Sports Official, or Sports Administrator (High School, College, Amateur, or Professional)<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Supporter\/Promoter (Media, Sponsor, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In order to be considered for induction into the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame, teams must have been<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A Professional League Champion<\/li>\n<li>A College National Champion<\/li>\n<li>A High School State Champion<\/li>\n<li>A Sectional Champion<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For more information, please email the Hall of Fame at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:GreaterUticaSportsHOF@gmail.com\">GreaterUticaSportsHOF@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nomination forms for 2017 for induction into the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame are currently available.\u00a0 The forms can be downloaded athttp:\/\/www.greateruticasports.com\/nominations\/.
