Actor, film critic, stage performer Steve Hayes will present \u201cThe Ghost and Mrs. Muir\u201d at 7 p.m., February 16 at the New Woodstock Free Library.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The New Woodstock Free Library has announced the appearance of classics film expert Steve Hayes to screen and provide commentary on the 1947 romantic fantasy film \u201cThe Ghost and Mrs. Muir\u201d at 7 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feb. 16<\/span> at the library. This is the third consecutive year the New Woodstock native, now residing in New York City, has made an appearance at the library. Reservations recommended, but not required at 315-662-3134<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steve Hayes is an actor and host of the hit YouTube show: \u201cSTEVE HAYES: Tired Old Queen at the Movies\u201d. He was a guest host on Turner Classic Movies to celebrate their Twentieth Reunion in 2014, introducing the sci-fi classic, \u201cThem!\u201d with Robert Osborne.<\/p>\n

As an actor, he starred in Fine Line Feature\u2019s \u201cTRICK\u201d and \u201cThe Big Gay Musical\u201d and is featured in the upcoming film \u201cHooked\u201d written & directed by Max Emerson. On stage, he has performed his two one- person shows; \u201cTOQ LIVE! and \u201cSteve Hayes: Hollywood Reunion\u201d throughout the country.<\/p>\n

Hayes appeared at the Conn. Rep. Theatre Nutmeg Series playing Horton in \u201cSeussical: The Musical\u201d, Pseudolis in \u201cA Funny Thing Happened On the Way To The Forum\u201d, Mayor Shinn in \u201cThe Music Man\u201d, The Barber in \u201cMan Of La Mancha\u201d, Calliope in \u201cXanadu\u201d and Twimble\/Womper in \u201cHow To Succeed\u201d.\u00a0 He was also the Modern Major General in \u201cThe Pirates of Penzance\u201d directed by Terrance Mann. He played Edna in \u201cHairspray\u201d, Polonius in \u201cHamlet\u201d, Wendall in \u201cThe Penguin Tango\u201d and most recently; Cogsworth in \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d at The Red House Theatre, Syracuse.\u00a0 He will next be at the Red House in \u201cSix Degrees of Separation\u201d March 9 through 18.<\/p>\n
