That bump led to a persistent headache, which I got checked out after the budget passed. I would like to thank the skilled medical staff at SUNY Upstate Medical University, who provided me with top-notch care.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy doctors have advised me to rest up for a bit, which really isn\u2019t something I often do, but I\u2019m taking advantage of the break in the Assembly session to follow doctor\u2019s orders and should be back to full speed very soon. I may miss a few days in Albany when session starts back up, but I\u2019ll be working the phones from here in Syracuse. There\u2019s a lot of work left to be done in the final months of session, and I\u2019m hopeful we can get traction on important issues like my bill to create a statewide paint stewardship program and ethics reform. And, of course, my office will remain fully open so that my staff and I can continue to address the needs of constituents in the district. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAgain, thanks to the staff at SUNY Upstate for their expert care. It is something many of us may not think of much until we need it, but we are truly blessed to live in a community with such outstanding medical facilities, offering unmatched preventative care and ready to treat all kinds of medical emergencies.
