Barron, 29, of King Street, Herkimer, with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in Lenox Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 9 p.m. April 27, Trooper Michael Petrie stopped a 2005 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on State Route 5 near Wampsville for an equipment violation. While speaking with Barron, Petrie noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A vehicle search revealed approximately 55 grams of marijuana inside the passenger compartment of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Barron was taken into custody, processed at the Sullivan state police barracks and released with an appearance ticket returnable to Lenox Town Court May 23, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sullivan based state police charged Althea L.
