Everyone loves a soft, snuggly teddy bear! Friends of Rogers invites all young, and young-at- heart, to bring their\u00a0favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to a special celebration at Rogers Center.<\/p>\n

On May 27, join Friends of Rogers to enjoy teddy bear stories, songs and rhymes during the second annual \u201cTeddy Bear Picnic.\u201d Admission includes a delicious picnic lunch.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole family will enjoy lunch outdoors – the teddy bear way,\u201d said Jenni Larchar, Children\u2019s Program coordinator. \u201cGo out into the woods with your favorite stuffed friends. Stories, songs, and adventure await!\u201d<\/p>\n

As the popular children\u2019s song says, visitors to the popular Rogers Center \u201cTeddy Bear Picnic\u201d are sure to have a treat, with lots of marvelous things to eat and wonderful games to play.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very excited to once again host the \u2018Teddy Bear Picnic\u2019 this spring,\u201d said Simon Solomon, Friends of\u00a0Rogers executive director. \u201cOffering programs like this means the fulfillment of our mission in a dynamic way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTeddy Bear Picnic\u201d will take place from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Outdoor Classroom at Rogers Environmental Education Center, just off state Route 80 in Sherburne. Pre-register by May 26; admission is $5\u00a0per member and $7 for not-yet-members or $18 for families who are Friends of Rogers members and $22 for those families who are not-yet-members.<\/p>\n

Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization\u00a0that offers educational programs for people of all ages. Seasonal hours are from 10 am to 4:30 pm Wednesday\u00a0through Saturday, and from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
