Her husband Jim has taken 12 weeks off work without pay, but now has to return to work.<\/p>\n<p>Laurie\u2019s friends and family are hosting a benefit for her on her birthday, Sunday, May 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Rusty Rail Party House, Route 5, Canastota.
