The New York State Police in Pulaski announce the arrest of 51-year-old Shawn P. Doyle of 85 Lake Street, Pulaski, and 73-year-old John James Maroney of 185 Leavitt Road, New Haven. These individuals were arrested after a joint investigation conducted by the State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (Mid State Child Exploitation Task Force) and the Oswego County District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The investigation commenced when the parents of a 15-year-old reported what they believed was an inappropriate relationship between their son and Doyle and Maroney.<\/p>\n

The charges are as follows:<\/p>\n

Shawn P. Doyle\u00a0\u2013 (1) count of issuing a false written statement, (2) counts of Unlawfully Dealing to a minor, and (4) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.<\/p>\n

John J. Maroney\u00a0\u2013 (1) count False Written Statement and (2) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.<\/p>\n

Doyle and Maroney were arraigned in the Town of Richland released on their own recognizance.<\/p>\n
