The Susquehanna River Basin Commission will receive public comment at a hearing on\u00a0Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017<\/span>. The subjects covered by the hearing include applications for several water withdrawal and consumptive use projects and a proposed rulemaking, which would amend the Commission\u2019s regulations to codify and strengthen its Access to Records Policy.<\/p>\n

The SRBC Commissioners are scheduled to vote on these and other action items at their next business meeting Friday, Dec. 8, 2017<\/span>, in Annapolis, Md.<\/p>\n

The hearing will be held at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, Room 8E-B, East Wing, Commonwealth Avenue, Harrisburg, Pa. The hearing will begin at\u00a02:30 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0and end at\u00a05 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0or when public testimony concludes, whichever comes first. Members of the public who are planning to present oral testimony at the public hearing are encouraged to notify SRBC prior to the hearing of their intent and to indicate the subject of their comment. SRBC will accept written comments until\u00a0Nov. 13, 2017<\/span>; comments may be submitted electronically through SRBC\u2019s Public Participation Center or mailed or faxed to Mr. Oyler.<\/p>\n
