Butters, 60, of Rome, was eastbound on State Route 31 and attempted to make a left turn onto State Route 46. The Butters vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2004 Audi traveling westbound on State Route 31 operated by Donald G. Proulx, age 64, of Marcy.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicles collided in the intersection;\u00a0the impact forced the Honda into a signpost on the northwest shoulder of the road.
