Schneiderman issued the following statement on the terror attack in lower Manhattan:<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: medium;\">&#8220;Today\u2019s attack was a senseless and cowardly act of terror against our city, our state, and our country.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: medium;\">Like all New Yorkers,\u00a0I am grateful for the NYPD and all of our first responders, who work tirelessly and courageously today and every day to keep us safe.\u00a0My thoughts and prayers are with the families and victims of today\u2019s attack.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: medium;\">New Yorkers will always stand united against any and all acts of hate and terrorism.
