Together, we can beat our biggest rival. The\u00a0community is invited to come out and learn more about the Relay For Life movement and how they can help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKick Off is our opportunity to showcase the many programs and services the American Cancer Society provides to the folks in Madison County,\u201d Melanie Francis, Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society. \u201cOur teams are proud of their hard work and are always looking for more neighbors to join them in the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world\u2019s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event to save lives from cancer. At Relay For Life events, participants celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change. Together, we can <!--more-->beat our biggest rival. Join a Relay For Life event and help\u00a0us attack cancer from every angle. During the kickoff event, community members will have the\u00a0opportunity to register a team for the Relay For Life event, which will be held June 2, 2018, from 4 p.m. to midnight, at Vets Field in Oneida.<\/p>\n<p>The event will celebrate and honor local cancer survivors, patients and caregivers, and showcase how funds raised benefit the local community. Speakers will include residents from\u00a0Madison County that have benefited from the American Cancer Society\u2019s programs and resources.
