{"id":88945,"date":"2018-03-03T00:02:43","date_gmt":"2018-03-03T05:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=88945"},"modified":"2018-03-03T00:02:39","modified_gmt":"2018-03-03T05:02:39","slug":"morrisville-man-faces-drug-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=88945","title":{"rendered":"Morrisville man faces drug charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-88946\" src=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Tallman-Vance-110x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"110\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Tallman-Vance-110x150.jpg 110w, https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Tallman-Vance-219x300.jpg 219w, https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Tallman-Vance.jpg 393w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 110px) 100vw, 110px\" \/>Morrisville man faces drug charges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 26, 2018, Madison County Sheriff\u2019s Office investigators arrested and charged Vance Harley Tallman, 24, of Cedar Street, Morrisville, with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class B felonies);<\/li>\n<li>five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class D felonies);<\/li>\n<li>five counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A misdemeanors);<\/li>\n<li>one count of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor);<\/li>\n<li>one count of unlawful\u00a0possession of marijuana (a violation);<\/li>\n<li>one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and<\/li>\n<li>one count of endangering the welfare of a child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is alleged that Tallman possessed two large bags of heroin, 24 morphine pills, several bags containing methamphetamine, several vials containing concentrated cannabis, cocaine, marijuana, a gravity knife and drug packaging paraphernalia.<\/p>\n<p>It is also alleged that Tallman possessed narcotics and controlled substances with the intent to sell them in a residence occupied by a child.<\/p>\n<p>Tallman was arraigned in Morrisville Village Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond.
