Historian Dr. Norman Dann will present his new biography entitled\u00a0Peter Smith of Peterboro: Furs, Land, and Anguish.<\/em>\u00a0Peter, father of Gerrit Smith, created the family\u2019s fabulous wealth through fur trading and land speculation, but ended up an eccentric, disturbed old man.
