Four facing drug charges in Smithfield incident<\/strong><\/p>\n

Madison County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies and investigators responded to\u00a05370 Peterboro Road<\/a>\u00a0in Smithfield to assist medical personnel with a report of a man who was bleeding.<\/p>\n

Shortly after arrival, investigators observed items used to manufacture methamphetamine and a methamphetamine lab. The Sheriff\u2019s Office and the state police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant and located finished methamphetamine product and several other items that were used to manufacture the methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

The following people were arrested and charged with third-degree manufacturing methamphetamine in (class D felony), fifth-degree conspiracy (class A misdemeanor) and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A misdemeanor).<\/p>\n
