\"\"Pulaski man arrested on child pornography charges<\/em><\/p>\n

The New York State Police in Pulaski arrested\u00a0Christopher D. Hoyt,\u00a0age 32, from 5 James Street, Pulaski, NY for (1) count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D-felony) and (3) counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E-felony).<\/p>\n

Hoyt was arraigned before Hon. Howard Allen, town of Albion Court and \"\"remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash\/ $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in the town of Richland Court on May 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

The investigation stemmed from an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) cybertip.\u00a0 The New York State Police were assisted in this investigation by Homeland Security Investigations.<\/p>\n

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force consists of members from New York State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Marshals Service.<\/p>\n

Three suspects charged with manufacturing meth in Lewis County<\/em><\/p>\n

A two-month-long investigation by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team into methamphetamine manufacturing culminated with the execution of a search warrant in Lewis County.<\/p>\n

\"\"On April 26,2018, State Police members from CNET Central, Special Operations Response Team, Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, State Police K-9 Unit, Troop D Uniform Troopers along with members of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Army National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, Lewis County Sheriff\u2019s Dept. and Village of Lowville police Dept. executed a search warrant at 4267 Cherry Street Lyons Falls.<\/p>\n

Seized as a result of the warrant were:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • 15 grams of Methamphetamine with a street value in excess of $1,500<\/li>\n
  • 4 grams of Heroin laced with Fentanyl<\/li>\n
  • 177 Sudafed Pills<\/li>\n
  • Numerous assorted prescription pills<\/li>\n
  • 2 fully automatic 9mm handguns*, 2 semi-automatic handguns*, a revolver*<\/li>\n
  • 3-gun sound suppressors (silencers)<\/li>\n
  • 5 assault rifles*<\/li>\n
  • 11 long guns<\/li>\n
  • Methamphetamine manufacturing materials<\/li>\n
  • Assorted ammunition in excess of a thousand rounds<\/li>\n
  • Numerous high capacity ammunition magazines that were loaded with live ammunition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    *All weapons were illegally possessed.<\/p>\n

    State Police arrested and charged the following individuals:<\/p>\n

    Victor G. Ehlers<\/strong>, age 35, from 4267 Cherry Street, Lyons Falls,\u00a0is facing federal charges of Possession of a Listed Chemical, knowing it will be used to manufacture a controlled substance, and Possession of a firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The defendant was arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Baxter and lodged at the Madison County Jail on no bail.<\/p>\n

    Angela L. Brouty<\/strong>, age 39, from 4267 Cherry Street, Lyons Falls, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd\u00a0degree (Meth-Intent to sell) a class \u201cB\u201d felony and Manufacturing Methamphetamine 3rd\u00a0degree, a class \u201cD\u201d felony.<\/p>\n

    Corey D. Marolf<\/strong>, age 21, from 5792 Doviak Road, Turin, for Manufacturing Methamphetamine 3rd\u00a0degree, a class \u201cD\u201d felony. The defendant also had an active probation warrant for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th\u00a0degree (Firearm\/Weapon).<\/p>\n

    Brouty and Marolf were arraigned before town of West Turin Justice Markham and remanded to the Lewis County Jail each on $10,000 cash\/$20,000 bond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
