State Police make arrests following a five-month heroin investigation in Syracuse<\/strong><\/p>\n

A five-month long Heroin investigation by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET-Central) resulted in several search warrants being executed in the city of Syracuse.<\/p>\n

On May 10, 2018, State Police members from CNET Central, Special Operations Response Team, State Police K-9 Unit, Troop D Uniform Troopers along with members of the Syracuse Police Department executed a search warrant at 210 Kellogg Street and 213 Congress Avenue in the city of Syracuse.<\/p>\n

Seized as a result of the warrant were:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  • 83 glassine bags containing Heroin & Fentanyl<\/li>\n
  • 269 small zip-lock bags containing cocaine<\/li>\n
  • $301.00 in U.S. currency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    State Police arrested and charged the following three individuals with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class \u201cB\u201d felony:<\/p>\n

    • Ricardo A. Bonilla<\/strong>, age 50, from 213 Congress Avenue Syracuse<\/li>\n
    • Carlos J. Lazu<\/strong>, age 39, 201 Kellogg Street Syracuse<\/li>\n
    • Edwin J. DeJesus<\/strong>, age 37, homeless<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      All three were arraigned in city of Syracuse Court. Bonilla was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, Lazu was held without bail, and DeJesus was remanded on $10,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
