United Steel Workers is one of the country\u2019s most important unions, representing employees in industries ranging from nuclear energy to chemical manufacturing to public service.<\/p>\n<p>Brindisi has earned the endorsements from a number of prominent labor organizations, including the New York chapter of AFL-CIO, New York State United Teachers and the American Federation of Government Employees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m honored to have the endorsement of USW District 4,\u201d Brindisi said. \u201cThis campaign is about empowering working people in upstate New York, and organized labor has always led the way in fighting for higher wages, better infrastructure, and high-quality healthcare. I\u2019m looking forward to meeting USW workers throughout this campaign to hear their concerns and make sure they have a voice in Washington.
