Adams, who resides at\u00a025 English St., Ilion, was charged with the\u00a0class B felony of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.\u00a0Adams was\u00a0found to be in possession of a quantity of &#8220;crack&#8221; cocaine with the intent to sell same.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, more than $4,000 cash, drug paraphernalia, packaging material\u00a0and a motor vehicle belonging to Adams were\u00a0seized as part of this narcotics trafficking investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Adams was later arraigned and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail\u00a0without bail; he may also\u00a0face additional drug-related charges pending grand jury action.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ilion man charged following &#8220;crack&#8221; cocaine trafficking investigation On Friday June 15, 2018, members of the New York State Police&#8217;s Community Narcotics Enforcement Team\u00a0were assisted by\u00a0members of the Ilion Police Department\u00a0in serving\u00a0multiple search warrants in the village of Ilion and surrounding area.
