Neidl, 75, of Westmoreland, was traveling southbound on Bartlett Road when he approached an incline in the roadway and noticed a man walking near the double solid yellow line in the roadway. Neidl attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid striking the pedestrian.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"contentArtDisplay\">The pedestrian has been identified as\u00a0Charles T. Hast, 71, of 6271 Bartlett Road, who was crossing the roadway after checking his mailbox.
