The film features Max Irons, Glenn Close, Terence Stamp and Gillian Anderson. The film is free. The show is free and open to all ages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 16-20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The OPL Children Players Theater Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday-Friday,\u00a09:30-11:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tom Lemery returns to the OPL to direct children in grades three through eight in theater skills. This summer\u2019s week-long camp focuses on performance art, specifically a \u201cpoetry slam,\u201d in which children will select poems to recite with the vim and vigor of a theatrical performance. The players will perform their work in a performance on\u00a0Friday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m.\u00a0at the library. Salati will read the book and talk about the illustrations, following with a simple art lesson on drawing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Doug Salati on the Art of Illustrating Books<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\u00a0at\u00a06:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doug Salati, a native of Oneida now living in Brooklyn, will offer adults, old and young, insight into the art of illustrating books, using his own work as examples. Salati, an Oneida High School graduate, received his M.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts in New York and was a 2015 Sendak Fellow. \u201cIn a Small Kingdom, written by Tomie dePaolo, is his debut picture book, which was published last April by Simon and Schuster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Great War Book Discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\u00a0at\u00a07:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the third of five book discussions on great literary works that rose from World War I, Prof. Roxanna Pisiak and Tom Murray this month focus on the undervalued masterpiece by William March, \u201cCompany K,\u201d which follows an American infantry company from training camp to the trenches of France.
