The Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Utica announced today that it will accept pre-applications for its Roosevelt Residences affordable housing development until Friday, Aug. 24, 2018. The lottery to choose applicants is open to the public and will be held on\u00a0Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at 2 p.m.\u00a0in the Community Room of Chancellor Apartments,\u00a0417 Bleecker Street, Utica<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The public as well as UMHA Tenant-Based Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waiting list households are encouraged to submit pre-applications by\u00a0Aug. 24. Paper pre-applications are available at our offices at 509 2nd\u00a0St., Utica.\u00a0Pre-applications may be downloaded from UticaRR.com<\/a>. Pre-applications must be returned to our offices at 509 2nd\u00a0St., Utica, by\u00a04 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018,\u00a0or emailed toinfo@UticaRR.com\u00a0by\u00a011:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018.<\/p>\n

The Roosevelt Residences project involves the construction of 50 affordable housing units consisting of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments. Eight units are set aside for the homeless and seven are fully accessible, adapted, and move-in ready units for people with mobility or hearing\/vision impairments.<\/p>\n
