The event features the kick-off of the 2019 STEM-focused Indoor Team Drone Challenge, Forest Fury.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The annual competition for students ages 11-plus, will take place April 7, 2019, on the SUNY campus. Forest Fury is the centerpiece of CNY Drones volunteer run programs. SUNY AMA, along with the SUNY 3D Printing and Fabrication Clubs, are assisting with the creation of this season\u2019s field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forest Fury\u2019s theme is based on a forest fire rescue scenario. It will include a hiking trail, fire tower, mountain terrain and a time-triggered landslide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Drone info day includes a portion of the 30-by-60-foot field and sample field elements.\u00a0\u00a0Information on competition registration will be available from CNY Drones volunteers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Drone Info Day also includes drone flight simulators, demos with FPV viewing, safety information and local drone technology organization exhibits.
