Syracuse couple arrested on multiple charges following traffic pursuit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at 2:09 a. m., Troopers assigned to the \u201cSyracuse Initiative\u201d observed a 2005 Buick traveling west on Burnet Avenue in the city of Syracuse commit a vehicle and traffic violation. Troopers activated emergency lights and siren, but the vehicle failed to comply and continued west on Burnet Avenue. The vehicle finally stopped when the operator, later identified as Lindia T. Thomas pulled over.<\/div>\n

Thomas and a passenger, Quentin Q. Harrison, were taken into custody without further incident.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\"Lindia T. Thomas, 38, of 919 Hawley Ave., Syracuse, was charged with the following:<\/p>\n

  • Reckless Endangerment 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
  • Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
  • Fleeing A Police Officer 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
  • Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, an unclassified misdemeanor<\/li>\n
  • Reckless Driving, an unclassified misdemeanor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Thomas was released on numerous UTTs and appearance tickets, all returnable to the City of Syracuse Court Nov. 30, 2018, at 9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

    \"\"The front seat passenger,\u00a0Quentin D. Harrison, 43, from 179 Parkway Drive, Syracuse, was charged with the following:<\/p>\n

    • Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th<\/sup>\u00a0degree, class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
    • Possession of Burglar Tools, class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
    • Criminal Possession Stolen Property 5th<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class \u201cA\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
    • Criminal Possession Anti-Security Item, class \u201cB\u201d misdemeanor<\/li>\n
    • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Harrison was also wanted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision as a parole absconder. He was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center pending centralized arraignment.<\/p><\/div>\n
