Our annual Canned Food Drive to benefit the Morrisville Food\nPantry has begun and will continue until the end of February. Help us make it\nbetter than last year. Please note: We can only take unexpired items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Friday, Jan. 25, please join us for our Family Movie\nNight at 7 p.m. We will be showing Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. We provide\nthe popcorn; just bring your own beverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring the little ones in for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story\nhour on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. Help us have fun with \u201cLet\u2019s Have a Party.\u201d\nStories, finger plays a craft and more. If you cannot make that day, join us Tuesday,\nFeb. 5, for \u201cGet Well Soon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, Feb. 4 through Monday, April 15, we begin doing\nour program, Free Tax Prep for Seniors. RSVP with the support of the\nMorrisville Public Library will offer free income tax preparation for seniors\n60 years and older. RSVP volunteers will be providing free income tax services Feb.\n4 through April 15. Volunteers are certified by the IRS to complete your tax\nforms. Call Cooperative Extension after Feb. 1 at 315.684.3001 to sign up for\nyour appointment to have your tax returns filed free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us Friday, Feb. 8, for Valentine Cards and Treats at 6:30\np.m. (There is a snow date of Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., just in case.) Come\nmake two valentines for a special someone and two sweet treat holders, too. Cost\nis $10 per set of four activities (payable the night of the program). Jackie\nGroves of Librarystampers Creations will demonstrate how to use stamps and\nother tools to create these unique items. This is open to ages 12 and up (younger\nparticipants allowed with a parent or guardian). We must have five people\nsigned up to have this event, so sign up now at the circulation desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, we will be having our Adulting 101-Topic:\nBasics of Sewing Part 1 which was rescheduled from Jan. 9. Don\u2019t know how to\nsew? Need to remember how? This is for you. Learn the basics of sewing and\nleave with your own potholder created by YOU. If you have a sewing machine or\ncan borrow one, bring it. All participants need to bring one-half yard of\nmaterial, as well. All other materials will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
