Suffolk County man charged in Eaton burglary<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

State police announces Feb. 1, 2019, the arrest of Clifford\nR. Williams, 56, of Selden, for second-degree burglary, a class C felony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams is accused of unlawfully entering a relative\u2019s\nresidence in Eaton through a window and taking several antique items from\nwithin the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams was arraigned and remanded to Madison County Jail\nwithout bail. He is scheduled to appear in Eaton Town Court Feb. 5, 2019, at\n2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael J. Larock <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Jan.  24, 2019, state\npolice in Watertown arrested Michael J. Larock, 31, from Ogdensburg, on\ncharges of fourth-degree grand larceny (E felony), resisting arrest (A misdemeanor)\nand menacing a police officer (D felony).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larock is alleged to have stolen two generators from Gander\nOutdoors in the Salmon Run Mall, town of Watertown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to being placed into custody, Larock threatened the trooper\nwith a folding knife and refused to comply with a lawful order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A taser was deployed, and Larock was taken into custody\nwithout further incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Pamelia Town Court and remanded to the\nJefferson County public safety building in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fort Drum man arrested for stealing coffee maker from Wal-Mart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron M. Mays <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Jan. 28, 2019, state police in Watertown arrested Cameron\nM. Mays, 19, an active-duty soldier from Fort Drum, for fourth-degree criminal mischief,\nsecond-degree falsifying business records and petit larceny, all class A misdemeanors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron is alleged to have stolen and fraudulently returned a coffee maker from Wal-Mart in the town of LeRay.\u00a0He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to LeRay Town Court and turned over to military authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troopers respond to nearly 1,100 crashes during winter storm<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

State troopers responded to nearly 1,100 motor vehicle\ncrashes and issued more than 600 travel ban tickets during the snowstorm that\naffected much of the state last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

State police increased patrols in the regions that were highly\nimpacted to handle storm-related incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troopers responded to 1,096 crashes during the storm;\n81 of those crashes resulted in injuries, including three fatalities. In\naddition, troopers responded to 1,528 disabled or abandoned vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

State police also issued 601 tickets to drivers of\ncommercial vehicles who violated the travel ban.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
