The driver of the vehicle, Jeremy J. Prokes, 46, of Bridgeport, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with a 6-year-old child in the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prokes was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.26 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was subsequently charged with:  <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, a class E felony;<\/li><li>endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor; and<\/li><li>multiple vehicle and traffic violations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prokes was arraigned in Schodack Town Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or bond; he is scheduled to return to Schodack Town Court at 2 p.m. Feb. 27, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The child was turned over to the care of Child Protective Services of Onondaga County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Feb. 22, 2019, at approximately 4:48 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 for a vehicle and traffic violation.
