On Oct. 24, 2016, State Police in Remsen arrested 34-year-old, James R. Smith of 8409 Posey Hill Road, Trenton, Oneida County, for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing, both class “A” misdemeanor.
Smith is accused of threatening the victim with a 3-foot wooden 4 x 4 during a verbal dispute on the roadway in front of 8409 Posey Hill Road. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Trenton court Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
