The “Ultimate Teen Scavenger Hunt: Backwoods Challenge” returns May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne. Open to teens ages 12-16, this event will test wilderness skills while offering a chance to have outrageous fun and make new friends. Teens will form teams, complete missions, win awesome prizes – and take lots of selfies!

Sponsored by the Hamilton Area Community Coalition, this free event is designed to encourage safe and healthy fun.

Participants should be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and proper footwear for backwoods adventures. Teens must be checked-in by a parent, and a parent lounge will be available.

“Rogers Center is a fun place to explore,” said Melissa Cassulis, Program Coordinator. “Do you have what it takes to complete the challenge? Invite your friends – and build your own team!”

Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization that offers educational programs for people of all ages. Seasonal hours are from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
