Oneida Public Library

Young children, their parents and other family members are invited to Oneida Public Library for a special Family Holiday Party Saturday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m.

OPL’s Youth Services Coordinator Megan Gillander will host an event with holiday songs, activities, games, stories and small gifts for the small people. A special guest from Santa’s Toy Shop will be on hand.

The Friends of Oneida Public Library will provide refreshments.

Guests may also wish to help decorate the OPL’s Giving Tree. This year, in cooperation with Future Farmers of America, the Giving Tree is dedicated to supporting Heifer International, a not-for-profit organization that provides livestock to struggling families in developing countries as a means to earn much-needed income. Library patrons may donate any amount to the goal of providing 10 families with the gift of live animals.

The Family Holiday Party, being held in the OPL’s Young Adult Room on the main floor, is free and open to all young children and their parents or guardians. For more information, stop by the Oneida Library, 220 Broad St. or call 315-363-3050and ask for Megan Gillander.
