(Madison County, NY – March 2013) The Madison County Dairy Promotion Committee will hold its 50th Dairy Princess Pageant May 5 at 1 p.m. at the Jim Marshall Foundation banquet hall located on New Boston Road, North Chittenango.

The committee is seeking individuals between the ages of 8 to 23 who are interested in promoting the dairy industry. Individuals between the ages of 8 and 15 would be dairy ambassadors and young ladies between the ages of 16 to 23 are eligible for the title of Madison County Dairy Princess or Alternate Dairy Princess.

Eligible entrants must have a connection to the dairy industry, which means that either they or a member of their close family must work full-time in a dairy-related job and have a desire to promote the dairy industry. They must have knowledge of the dairy industry and dairy products to effectively promote at the many events required of them.
