Large_Kinsley_12Join Pody Vanderwall on Saturday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m., as she explores the exquisite folk art of Jessie Catherine Kinsley, on display and in the collections of the Oneida Community Mansion House. Vanderwall is Kinsley’s great-granddaughter and will present an illustrated lecture in the Big Hall.

The discussion will be followed immediately by a walking tour of the Mansion House nature trails where Kinsley once led her grandchildren on adventures. The nature trail is an easy walking path. Guests should wear comfortable hiking or walking shoes and appropriate clothing for wet woodlands (pants and long-sleeved shirts). We also recommend bringing water and binoculars.

The Oneida Community Mansion House is located at 170 Kenwood Ave., Oneida. Free parking is available. Fees for the event, which include admission to the Mansion House, are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Register by calling 315-363-0745.
