The Chenango Canal Association hosted an open house Sat., June 4, at the Cottage Museum on Canal Road for people to drop in and learn about local history during the Madison-Bouckville Spring Antique Show.
A tour of a lock and aqueduct turned out to be a popular part of what was offered.
The Cottage Museum was open from 10-4 and received many Colgate alumni from the Class of ’61 during Colgate University’s Reunion Weekend, thanks to the Alumni Department including the museum in a listing of things to do on Saturday.
People also strolled around the Madison-Bouckville Antique Show.
Watch your local listings for another historic tour this summer!
