The Cazenovia Public Library will welcome local resident and architect Eric Lints to the Community Room on Thursday, May 25, at 7 p.m., for a special presentation: “The Tiny House Considered.” The lecture will feature a discussion about buying, building, and living in a tiny house in Central New York.
The tiny house movement is an architectural and social movement that advocates living simply in smaller homes. While the typical American home is around 2,600 square feet, the typical tiny house measures between 100 and 400 square feet. Popular reasons for joining the movement include environmental concerns, financial concerns and the desire for more time and freedom.
