State Police are continuing their investigation into a two-vehicle fatal in Marcy
State Police are continuing their investigation into a two-vehicle, one-person fatal motor vehicle accident I-90 (eastbound) town of Marcy.
On March 6, 2018, at approximately 11:23 p.m., New York State Police responded to the area of I-90, eastbound (mpm 237.1) for reports of a two-car personal injury motor vehicle accident.
At this time, one person involved in the accident is confirmed deceased at this time, several other people have been transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is being investigated by New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit along with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Thruway Maintenance is also assisting at the scene. The identification of the persons involved is currently being withheld pending notification of family. More information will be released as it becomes available.
