Salka announces committees
Assemblyman-elect John Salka (R-Brookfield) announced his committee membership for the 2019 Legislative session.
Salka will be the ranking minority member on the Food, Farm and Nutrition Committee; he also will also serve on the Aging, Banks, Higher Education and Social Services committees.
“In November, I was given the opportunity to serve the people of the 121st Assembly District, Salka said. “Now it’s time to get to work. With such a strong agricultural sector in the 121st Assembly District, I am honored to be named the ranking minority member of the Food, Farm and Nutrition Committee.
“This is an industry that has such a huge impact on many of our daily lives here, and I plan to help that industry thrive during my time in the Assembly. I am eager for the 2019 Legislative session to start, so I can fight for policies that will make life better for my constituents.”
