Community input is essential to the success of this planning. A public agency, the CNY RPDB was established in 1966 by Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego counties and provides a comprehensive range of services associated with the growth and development of communities in Central New York with a focus on the following program areas: Energy management, community development & comprehensive planning, economic development, environmental management, information and research services, intergovernmental coordination, and transportation planning.

This project is supported by the state Department of State with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund through the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program.
