(Canastota, NY – Sept. 2014) The United Church of Canastota, 144 Center St, will host its annual harvest dinner Saturday Oct. 4 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Menu includes chicken and biscuits, green beans, mashed potatoes and assorted desserts for $7 per meal.
The church is handicapped-accessible and take-out is available.
Mission Breakfast
The annual breakfast benefit for the Nicaragua mission will be held on Saturday Oct. 25 from7 a.m. to noon at the church.
The all-you-can eat breakfast includes pancakes (plain or with chocolate or cinnamon chips), French toast, home fries, eggs cooked to order, sausage/bacon and assorted beverages. A bake sale will be held in conjunction with the breakfast and the collection of loose change and returnable bottles and cans.
All proceeds will benefit the medicines fund for the mission.
Donation is $10, kids 12 and younger is $5.
