E.L. Lewis Painting Packet(Canastota, NY – April 2015) On Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. the Canastota Public Library and the Canastota Canal Town Museum partner for the final “Canalside Talk” for 2015. This month will feature author William R. Farrell, who will present “Stops along the Erie Canal.” 

The presentation will include stories, legends, anecdotes, and history behind some of the most recognized places along the canal, from Albany to Buffalo.

William Farrell, a retired history and Latin teacher, enjoys presenting his research to the public.  He has travelled throughout New York State speaking to historical societies, schools, churches, libraries, service organizations, and book clubs. His visual presentation is informative and entertaining.

A short question and answer period will follow.

The program is free and open to all.
