Did you know there’s an easy way to keep track of the books you’ve read? The Library can help you monitor this easily by updating your private account settings! If this is something you wonder about from time to time, we encourage you to take advantage of this service rather than creatively marking in Library materials.

While this is not something most public Libraries are able to set up automatically for all patron accounts, we’re happy to allow folks to opt-in for this personalized service! Just call or stop by during our regular hours of operation and a staff member can quickly and easily adjust your account settings to track your borrowing history for you. This change won’t be retroactive, but it will set you up for tracking future checkouts.

Then, you can log into your account online and see a list of everything you’ve borrowed at any Library throughout the Mid York Library System from this point forward! Additionally, staff members will see a message at checkout to remind you if you are borrowing a book that you may not have remembered borrowing before. We’re very excited about being able to offer this service to you and we hope you’ll consider giving it a try!

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/. From the website, you can also sign up for our listserv and Wowbrary notices to receive emails about general Library news and newly added materials in our collections! Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events, and other general Library-related information: http://www.facebook.com/HPL.books .

The Library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Please visit or call the Library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
