ribbon cuttingOn Friday, June 10, at 5:30 p.m., the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting at View, 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, to celebrate their annual Neighbor Day Open House. The ribbon cutting event will also serve as a kickoff for all of the great exhibitions, events, performances, and workshops that View has planned this summer and fall.

The Neighbor Day Open House will be held at View Saturday, June 11, from noon to 4 p.m. Neighbor Day offers the opportunity for area residents and visitors of all ages to discover and rediscover everything that View has to offer.

As part of Neighbor Day, all galleries, studios, and events are free and open to the public, including the High School Art Show Opening, Taste of the Town in Gould Hall where local restaurants will be offering samples, demonstrations in the Meyda Tiffany Workshop Wing Ceramic and Pottery studios, and a performance by local musicians Alesha Carstens & Pray. The Kiwanis Key Club will be selling hot dogs and refreshments as well.
