Madison Teens Demonstrating at Philip Morris USA Shareholders Meeting in VATriplets Lauren, Brennan, and Madison Hysell along with Josh Drake, 13 all students from Madison Central School join 40 other youth leaders from across New York state to tell Philip Morris USA that they have “seen enough tobacco.”

The purpose of the demonstration is to communicate to the shareholders attending the meeting in Richmond, Va., that they are investing in a company that “sells death,” says Madison Hysell.

Students also want to raise awareness that “tobacco use remains a public health epidemic and we can’t stop fighting to protect lives from the disease and death that tobacco costs our country, our state, and our community,” says Josh Drake.
