The Mohawk Valley Rotary Club is selling tickets for a chance to win a beautifully framed oil painting by George Lewis called “The Mohawk Valley Noses” Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 which includes a free lithograph of the painting. The painting is on display at Remington FCU in Ilion. Anyone interested can purchase tickets at Remington FCU in Ilion, through Mohawk Valley Rotary Club members, and at our Mohawk Valley Rotary Club Facebook page.
The painting is valued at $500 and all proceeds from the raffle will support Mohawk Valley Rotary Club’s service projects. Some of these projects include the Dolly Parton Imagination Library which is a unique early childhood literacy program that mails a brand new, age-appropriate book to enrolled children in both Herkimer and Oneida Counties every month from birth until five years of age.
“We are very excited about this particular raffle because the painting is beautiful,” said Club President, Heather Irons. “Mohawk Valley Rotary Fundraisers helps to allow us to give back to our Community and for that we are thankful.”
