Herkimer- The Mohawk Valley Rotary Club is currently accepting registration for its 4th annual Fall Foliage Golf Tournament. The event will take place on Friday, September 30th at Pine Hills, Frankfort.
Registration for the event from 2:15- 3:15pm. Shot gun start is at 3:30pm, the cost is $60.00 per golfer and includes a 9-hole scramble, cart, dinner, beer on course, goodie bag, par 3 prizes and more! Corporate and individual golfer packages are available in addition to hole sponsorships.
The proceeds to this event help to support the Mohawk Valley Rotary’s community service projects as well as our collaboration with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Herkimer County. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a unique early childhood literacy program that mails a free brand new, age-appropriate book to enrolled children in Herkimer County every month from birth until five years of age, creating a home library of up to 60 books and instilling a love of books and reading from an early age. The Mohawk Valley Rotary’s goal is to help every child in our service area to be fully prepared for kindergarten.
The Mohawk Valley Rotary Club will also be selling tickets to a beautiful oil painting by George Lewis called “The Mohawk Valley Noses” Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 which includes a free lithograph of the painting at the tournament.
