Take your classroom outdoors through Project Aquatic WILD! Join Utica Zoo educators for an engaging workshop that will provide you with all you need to teach students of any grade level about aquatic wildlife and ecosystems.

Participants are introduced to Aquatic WILD through hands-on practice of activities and tips to adapt the lessons to fit their classroom. At the conclusion of the course, each participant will receive a copy of the Project Aquatic WILD K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide as well as a certificate that can be used to obtain professional development credit from your school district.

This course is open to teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, scout leaders, and anyone who works with children. The two-day workshop will be held on May 11 and May 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Utica Zoo. The cost of the program is $10 total per person and includes dinner for both sessions. Only 20 spots are available and preregistration is required by emailing Kathleen.McGill@uticazoo.org or by calling (315) 738-0472.
