Community support boosts three-day event covering 54 holes at Seven Oaks
Colgate’s 35th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament is in the books and head coach Keith Tyburski called it another rousing success.
This year’s event took place over the weekend at Seven Oaks Golf Club. The three-day, 54-hole tournament produced 12 flight winners and another great year of fun and memories.
“Once again, the Colgate Alumni Golf Tournament exemplified the true spirit that is Colgate,” Tyburski said. “Our wonderful community of alumni and friends enjoyed another great weekend in Hamilton.
“Even with the amount of rainfall we’ve experienced, Jon McConville and his staff had the course in excellent condition. We wouldn’t have been able to put on such a great event without the support of the campus community and of course the loyal and passionate alumni we have.”
Next year’s tournament is set for July 13-15, 2018.
